Several things all at once.

1: How about a winner tonight in college hoops. Don't care what team it is or which side. I am blindly tailing you tonight for 6 other place points.

2: When will you record another song for us? I find people with the balls to put themselves out there like that are very admirable.

3: As a Canadian maybe you can answer these couple of questions about the word about. You guys spell it correctly but pronounce it incorrectly, why? Also did you know that you Canadians pronounce about the same as West Virginians?

I could go on and on asking you questions Muddy but I will stop at these for now.

Who me?

1) Understand that I do not know the college game. I will not be betting it myself. I have only begun doing serious research into NCAAB this season - and I have developed a couple viable angles that I will be implementing next year - but I can't even loosely apply them to tonight's games for reasons I can explain if you like but I'll save the pedantics for now. Do you still want a guess? xav/KANST UN 151.5 -108 @ Matchbook. But I absolutely won't be betting it. Obviously it would have been better to grab earlier before the line moved so much but again, I don't bet it.

2) Funny you should ask. I just did a recording of a new song about two hours ago. It did not come out quite as I hoped so I will probably do another take tomorrow and I can think of no reason not to put it on YouTube and then link it here. So it should be tomorrow, thank you for asking.

3) I do not understand the question. I feel like we pronounce "about" properly. It sounds to me like Canadians are saying "about" just as it is spelled. When people make fun of it, I can hear what they are doing but it doesn't sound like Canadians I just hear talking. The people making fun must be exaggerating. I don't know. Maybe there is some kind of mass hysteria going on or maybe I am just a one man mass hysteria - but everything seems in order to me.

I did not know that about West Virginians but now that I know it, they will be my team for the rest of the tourney.

Mudders I appreciate you taking the time to answer these questions. Don't kid yourself though you guys say the word wrong. That's not American arogance just simple truth. It's ok though cause it's funny to hear you guys say it so always gets a pass.

As for the singing stuff. I realize you do this to please yourself and as an artistic expression but I was wondering if you take request? I'm thinking with your folksie style ( this is not a bad thing by the way) I'm thinking you could do a very good variation of Cat's in the Craddle. What are the chances?

As for the basketball I got tired of waiting and thought maybe you wouldn't get back to me in time so I already placed a wager on a game. It just so happens that it is the game you mentioned but I took K-State and laid the points. The mere fact that you without prior knowledge chose the same game gives me a good feeling.

Looks like my pick was wrecked by overtime. But it also looks like neither of us played it so Take that gambling gods!! BWAHAHHAAHAHAHAAHAHA!!

Ahem.

Well, I don't know what to say about Canadian accents. I suppose the same point about words not being pronounced as they are spelled can be made about all kinds of accents - even English accents. Like for example some dialects would pronounce the name of a well know forum owner renowned for keeping his punches up as John Woe-kuh.

If English people speaking English can't even follow basic phonetic rules, I feel Canadians should be given a pass if not, indeed, a pat on the head.

Cats in the Cradle? Hmmm. I could probably do something with it. I fear it would be disappointing though. People are used to hearing it a certain way and my way is bound to be a bit different and it wouldn't sound quite right by comparison. Maybe I could do something on the piano and that would totally shake it up. Leave it with me. No promises.

Sounds like a job for Matt Rain actually. For a long time he has claimed he plays guitar but we have yet to see any actual proof of it. Is he just a big old smelly fraud who reeks like fish guts and polluted water? Probably.
