Mudcat - who do you like tonight in the Bombers/Alouettes game?

Take the points. Bombers have lost 3 straight and have amassed a number of injuries but the points look good here.

Wallaaay! I was thinking the same thing, take the points. Now I see the line has gone from 11 to 11.5 and will probably go higher closer to kickoff.
Problem is Montreal has shellacked Winnipeg in all but 1 of their last 6 meetings and the Bombers look horrible.

I think I'll look at the total instead.

I like Montreal at home and give the points. Winnipeg has had a weak schedule (4 games against Hamilton already WTF?) and is still scuffling pretty badly and hasn't won on the road.

Montreal is a top team that has been winning with authority at home. Sask kept it fairly close but Wpg is not in Sask's league.



I say the Als stomp 'em.
 
Bad teams on the road against decent to good teams have been auto fade material this year. The home team in these situations have been incredibly undervalued up to this point. Saying that, for the first time we have a double digit spread so the market is finally catching up. With that in mind has all the value been seeped out of the home favorite in these situations, i am not sure it has reached that point yet.

Montreal wazzup 24-0 in 2nd qtr when starting QB Calvillo got injured, they were going to cruise to an easy win, now with their 3RD string QB in for the Als it is gonna be close - if it wasn't for the injury the Als would have crushed the Bombers big time.
