5. Steve Guttenberg: The man carried the Police Academy movies and was better than Selleck and Danson in “Three Men & A Baby”. Quite good in Short Circuit as well.
4. Patrick Dempsey: Can’t Buy Me Love was actually a pretty damn good movie! Loverboy has its moments. He was solid in both. He played the geek turned stud quite effortlessly.
3. Lily Tomlin: Probably remembered best for 9-5 but All Of Me with Steve Martin is criminally underrated. She was the funniest underrated actress of the 1980s in my opinion.
2, Micheal Keaton: Maybe not truly underrated but the movies he was in that he carried were. Johnny Dangerously, Night Shift and Mr. Mom to name a few. The guy did physical comedy extremely well.
1. Judge Reinhold: Fast Times At Ridgemont High, Vice Versa, Beverly Hills Cop, Gremlins AND Ruthless People! Never got the love he deserved.
