Monkey,

Other that that outdoor tent in front of Imperial Palace, can you recommend a place on the strip or within walking distance that plays live music. Preferably 70's, 80's 90's shit. Also, any bars on the strip that "mostly" plays this type of music? Not looking for a bar that plays this dance shit that is out there these days.

I've been to Vegas over a dozen times and I only stumbled into 80/90's bands at Carnival Court.

Really, wow. I see them everywhere, too.

By the way, people love Yellow Brick Road (classic rock covers), but they only seem to play off-the-strip (GVR, Suncoast, and Boulder Station).

For cover bands on the strip, you could try Margaritaville, O'Shea's, or the lounge at the rear of Bally's. There are also a few different piano bars at Harrah's, Paris, and NYNY. You also have the House of Blues and the Pub at Monte Carlo. It seems like there are always cover bands at the local casinos on the weekend. The Orleans always has one in their lounge. And you can generally find them at Boulder Station, Green Valley Ranch, Red Rock, etc. A solid local bar that you may be interested in checking out is Feelgood's. It's Vince Neil's bar here. It's west on Sahara a ways, but it's usually a pretty good scene.

Hmmm, I haven't done much wandering the strip in years, so maybe my memories are outdated. I know I used to hear 70s-80s cover stuff at that bar in Bally's near the connector to Paris. Other than that, I can't pull up more specific memories, but like renocool, I thought it was everywhere.

Hey, maybe you should go see Erocktica at Rio, classic rock covers and boobies at the same time!!! It's hilariously bad, a lot like a dirty high-school dance production after the whole senior class had boob-jobs.

Pucky, this show might be entertaining?

Zumanity was easily my least favorite Cirque show. Not very erotic, and not up to the artistic standards of their other productions. I hear that the Criss Angel Cirque show is pretty awful, too.
