According to a Miami Dade spokesman, police shot the machete-wielding attacker.

There was reportedly a death involved, and initial reports said one of the people involved suffered a severed hand.

Sad isn't it? Happens way too much down here. I don't know how you guys do it. Lot of respect for all the police we don't hear anything about. Come from a family of police and glad they don't have to deal with it (as much).
