As I understand it, everyone in the office picks six players (one from each tier).

Add those up, Player A -3, Player B -4, Player C +1 etc.... Vegas Dave Team Total -8

Other guy at office -12

Other guy wins.

So I imagine optimal strategy for a large pool is having some guys not everyone will be on, and some boom or bust as we'll need to smash our lineup to beat entire office, which we probably won't do with only boring high floor low ceiling guys.
 
Not playing any of the favorites day 1, hoping they have a poor round 1/2 maybe get a better line later. Like Aberg best, the rest are all very small wagers.
