I like Marty a lot as he was Canada's main man for our 2002 Gold Medal in Salt Lake City.

Wish him well but 2002 was many dog years ago. Objectively, I am not seeing this move at all. I could almost see a team like Edmonton doing this just because, you know, what the hell. But St. Louis is a real team.

St. Louis also has an airtight defensive system. As crappy retired Habs winger Benoit Brunet always says on TV, even he could play goalie for the Blues.

They could probably dress a blow-up doll and have her allow less than 3 goals a game.

Blues goalie Brian Eliot is injured for awhile so bringing Brodeur in is a no-brainer. His contract has a lot of performance based bonuses built in so it is not costing St Louis more than $700k to keep him around for the year + there isn't a no trade clause in the contract so he could be trade bait as well.

I also read today that Brodeur was playing in the NHL before one of the Blues players was even born.

If I was St. Louis I would not be making moves around the argument that, ehh, it probably maybe shouldn't be a complete disaster.

I am also basing my comments on some stats I was reading about which indicated a steady decline to the point where he was one of the worst goalies in the league, like, 2 years ago. And he sure hasn't gotten better since then.

I'm St. Louis, I just get someone better.

going to see the Blues play the Hawks tonight

anyone know if Martin is starting?

turned the radio on and they were just finish talking about blackhawks

a) corey crawford got hurt missing a step after leaving a concert

b) does St. Louis have a player that has married twice and is both Uncle AND Step-Dad to some kids?

they kept talking about Uncle-Dad

He's not dressing.

Ducks had to dress Dwayne Fokkin Roloson the other day. 45yo.
