Never understood the job of a baseball manager. He is not drawing plays like football or basketball. His job is very limited. Basically he works a few minutes before the series starts to pick the starting pitchers for each game. Then before each game he picks with the rest of the 8 starters. When the pitcher fukks up he goes on the mound to tell him to quit fukking up and if he keeps fukking up he yanks him out of the game. He doesn't draw any plays or have any strategy at all. His job is to basically tell the pitcher to get outs and tell the hitters to hit the ball but he can't change anything during the game about how they play. If a pitcher is off the manager can't fix anything and if the hitter is not hitting he can't change that either.

agree pavy...easily the most overpaid, overrated job in sports...a monkey could manage a team... its not that hard to take out pitchers who are giving up hits and its not hard to call for a bunt when needed... your average little leaguer could make the same decisions...
 
You guys are wrong! This guy was 0-1 as manager. Couldn't cut the mustard. :lmao:
