I have not posted a play in a week due to being busy with life but I'm intrigued by tonights match up.


PHI @ MIL


Now anyone who knows me knows that I have zero interest in PHI tonight.


MIL +130

Hamels comes in with a WHIP of 1.53 vs Bush and his 1.46 WHIP

PHI is an excellent offensive team for sure but a closer look reveals that they only out OPS MIL .812 to .801.


$$$ is coming in on PHI as the road favorite. For a nationally televised game I especially love this.


Anyone have any thoughts on MIL +130 tonight?

Dafty, if Phils going to lose, tonight is it. Bush probably could do just as good as Davis. Hamels is so unpredictable. If patient, Brewers should hit him. Phils surprising me with their play. With Valdez, Hoover, and pitch in 7,8,9 holes feel like they have only 6 batters? Do for a downer to end trip but who knows?

Brewers have to finally win at home, right? Phils pen in turmoil but Milw is just pure bad. Might just do a Milw +1.5 @ -130. OVER seems tempting but Phils with guys missing could lay an egg tonight. Phils 9-3 last 12! They appear to be due?

The brewers suck at home 4 and 13 -12.25 units the phillies on the other hand are the 5th best road team 12 and 7 +5.40. Not even looking at pitchers, if your getting anything under -150 the phillies are a bargain. There isn't much difference between the pitchers, but I don't think either of them will finish the game. The phillies BP while not great certainly is far better than Milwaukee.

It's either play the phillies or watch the game.

I was out today and am not going to rerun my numbers but I had Phil 59% chance to win this game. That was before Davis come down with his heart condition. I probably should re run the numbers but I chose to bet the Phils when I found them at Loose lines at -137.
