Law and Order cancelled after 20 years.

That is a hell of a long run. I found it to be a flawed but decent show. Never quite in the category of "must-see" but, with the help of reruns, I have seen a good percentage of the episodes.

In the aftermath of the LOST fiasco, it looks like awfully good TV.

I love Law & Order reruns. But the show hasn't been the same since Jerry Orbach and his amazing dentures and snappy one liners died.

Annoying show. Every plot line in a nutshell:

Bad guy/possible informant - "I don't know NUTHIN!"

Detective - "Well how bout we take you downtown then!??"

Bad guy/possible informant - "OK OK he works down at the deli on weekends. That's where you'll find him!"

they dont make them like they used to.

agree amb..svu was the only one left that was watchable to me...refuse to watch the others, although one of these days when i run out of shit to watch, ill go back and start at ep. 1 and watch them all

Law & Order was a very good show. All the people leaving just seemed to take its toll on the show and it started going downhill.


SVU is still pretty good and is not being canceled. Also they have a new show for next fall called Law & Order: Los Angeles. So even though the original will be gone, it will still have 2 spin offs on the air.

I had a thing for Elizabeth Rohm as Serena Sullivan. Too bad her run on the show was so short. They should have told us she was a lesbian right at the start of it instead of the end.

I have to say this about the show though. It is stunning how bad they are at character development. Their police/prosecuter procedures stuff was all good but whenever they tried to give a regular character a personal life or some back story it was some of the most awkward shit on TV.
