Not I guess a dislike or like of him, think he is a great talent, just my feelings toward him are to a tee stated by Muddy's post! Guy no doubt is a me guy! I don't particular care for those type players! Plus I'm a Sixer fan!

From a Celts fan perspective, I like the trade. Thomas will be getting a max contract somewhere next year. The Celts have Irving under contract for at least two years. Losing the 1st pick stings in theory, but knowing we get the Lakers 1st pick takes the sting out a little. Losing Zizic may be the thing that bites us in the ass the most in the future. Big guy w potential.
As much as I loved Thomas last year, it's still hard to ignore his injuries late last year and his style of play. The way he plays opens him up to future wear and tear that I'm not sure he can handle over another 5 years.

Good say Casper! I hear on sports talk radio how Cleve got lots for Irving but only in the perspective that every team knew they had to unload him! If that not the case, yes Cavs got value but Boston got a 1A superstar! Only flaw in his game is defense but Thomas is a mismatch defensively every game he plays!
I heard how much the fans of Boston loved Isiah and really was a guy they hated to see go! Casper, is that the case?

Thomas was the heart. Sucks to see him go. The guy did more than anyone expected him to do. He carried that team last year. I'll miss his electricity, but what Irving will bring will reap dividends longer IMO.
