Wonder where he's heading? Chicago, Boston, and New York apparently are the new frontrunners.

This looks to be the Hawks year. They won't be able to keep all of this young talent with the salary cap in place, so some believe they should just go all in and make this trade to put them over the top this year.

Anything's better than Atlanta... the guy is probably the most low-profile superstar in the league right now. Hope he moves into an actual hockey market - fukk the Devilzzzzz.

I hope Boston does not trade for Kovalchuck. They will not resign in the off season if they traded for him, and I don't see Kovy making then a Stanley Cup team.

I think Chicago NEEDS him. They would be the Cup favorite with him, and by trading for him they can shred some contracts off next year payroll and try and fix their cap issues for next season.

Sharp, Barker, AND two 1st rounders, AND another player? For a rental? No frigging way 2-3 months of Kovy costs that. If anything, you are undervaluing Sharp here.

Sharp + Barker + like a 3rd would easily get it done. Don't think Chicago has any interest in blowing up their team that much.
