Wow, Brian Burke got a great deal for 32 yo who is going to be an UFA.

Glad to see that bum Wheeler dealt. Guy has tons of talent but is lazy and afraid to check.

This takes a little bit of the sting out of the kessel deal. A very nice return for Toronto. Colborne will be groomed properly. Guy needs to learn to play with his new size. the conditional (2nd rnd pick in 2012) is sweet if Kaberle resigns or Bos makes it to the finals this year.

I was really surprise they got so much. I think Colborne could be a 20 goal guy in the right setting, he needs to improve his skating and better understand how to use his size to his advantage. I have seen Colborne play in college and in the AHL, and am disappointed to see him go. But the Bruins have bunch of young forwards and you cant keep them all.

Not comparing Coborne to Bobby Ryan, but Burke did take his time developing Ryan when he was coming up with the Ducks. Power forwards take time.

I am actually more excited about Peverley then KAberle.

Peverley isn't having the year he had last year, but that is a good trade for Boston. Wheeler is just too soft. He's at best a 3rd liner on a shitty team.

I had such high hopes for Wheeler after his rookie year.

I really thought he he would be a physical presence who would chip in with 20-25 goals a year.

Seguin has had a tough year because he has been left to play between Wheeler and Ryder, talk about giving a kid no chance to succeed.

Unless he smartens his act up, Wheeler will never again get the amount of money he is getting this year that's for sure. He's overpaid by $1.4 million.
