Had a skin tag the size of a fukkin walnut on the back of my left leg, was infected and swelled from its normal half walnut size.

Location of the skin tag was right at the edge of where the underwear ends on the leg and the friction was irritating it more than usual. Getting dressed/undressed, sitting, laying down caused pain - about a 2 on a scale from 1-10 but it was constant, and annoying.

So I head down to the Ouellette campus of Windsor Regional Hospital and am admitted and treated all within an hour of my visit. Hospital ER was extremely slow - so slow the nurse quipped "this is the best thing we've done all day". Couple other nurses asked if they could watch the procedure and I said yes. "That thing is huge" the nurse said as I lay there with my bare ass for all to see. She was talking about the skin tag and not my ass (I think).

I wish I had taken a picture of this thing, massive. It was sent for biopsy just in case but the doc said there was nothing to be concerned with.

Under an hour in/out with procedure and stitched up. Out of pocket cost $0. Satisfaction 100%.

Plommer out.

Damn pal. Glad you got that taken care of. You would been in the E.R. all day in most U.S. hospitals.

Like I said pal I wish I had a picture of it because words don't do it justice. Thing was massive, almost like having a testicle growing/dangling from my leg held on by a thin strip of skin.

I'm glad I got it removed too. It was not nice to look at and I wouldn't wear shorts in public with it.

Thanks Obama.

He runs Canadian healthcare, right?

The Christian hating negroe muslim Kenyan?

Yep.

In/out in LESS than 1 hour.

Now Windsor is not a large city (219K) and in Toronto I'm certain the wait would have been a few hours for the same treatment. I have had nothing but positive experiences the few times I've visited the hospital ER here.

I think there are 4 or 5 hospitals in the city but I only have experience at Windsor Regional Ouellette campus.

I don't know if it would've taken long, assuming they didn't tell you this is not an emergency and make an appointment to see your regular doctor.

But they would've most likely sent you a bill close to 5 figures. (It was same before Obamacare so quit blaming the one idiot who tried to do some good before the other idiots got a hold of it)
Which you would have been required to take care of by throwing into nearest dumpster.

btw. I'm glad this was not another turd escapade Plommer :coolingoff:

Yeah, glad it wasn't another turd escapade as well.

Normally removing a skin tag is not covered under the government health program as its considered cosmetic.

Once it becomes infected/swollen/painful its no longer cosmetic, it's something that requires treatment and is removed - and covered under OHIP*.

This is the second skin tag I've had surgically removed, the last time was in 2010 in Niagara Falls when I tried some over the counter shit on a large skin tak under my arm and it swelled up and got painful, the doc at the walk in clinic lanced it in a couple mins.

No out of pocket expense.
