Notre Dame -6.5

Navy is not the same the team that they have been the past few years, and ND finally has a coach that will take advantage of a severe talent edge. Navy is a local team for me. I have to hear about them all the time, and they are not that good this year. There's no way I can see them staying within a TD of Notre Dame. SMU should have buried them. I think ND wins this by 3 TDs.


Michigan State -6

Are you kidding me with this line? Why doesn't anyone believe in MSU yet? What don't you like about a team with a nasty defense, strong running game, and smart QB and playcalling? Northwestern is going to stay within a TD when Michigan and Wisconsin couldn't? Northwestern lost to Purdue last week.. Wait.... Wha...? They barely beat Minnesota and Central Michigan the two weeks previous. MSU is an ELITE team this year. Northwestern is going to find that out Saturday.


Utah St +3.5

Hawaii on the road?? Fuck that.
 
Jello, the opening line and the proceeding line action since the opening coupled with the enormous public popularity with Michigan St in this spot doesn’t concern you?

Like you have pointed out already, Michigan St it seems is for real and perhaps they aren’t being shown much love from the line makers but Northwestern was shown HUGE love from the early action “sharp” shoppers it would seem.

Course I can’t trust myself right now with any reads anyways. You could give me two options, take one away and give me the answer and I still would get it wrong. I’m in a funk Jello.

I didn't even look at the line action on any of these plays. All I know is that MSU impresses the hell out of me, and NW doesn't. I really like ND though. That's probably my strongest play. Navy is just not what people have become accustom to them being over the past few years. They should have lost to SMU. They really should have lost to Wake. They lost to a BAD Maryland team. Everybody knows ND has at least a TD's edge worth of talent over Navy. That's never been the question, but now they have quality coaching that isn't going to let Navy stay within a TD of them.

My best sport is baseball, but I've been doing OK in football so far this year.

Speaking of baseball, I like the Yankees tonight. Then Texas Game 7. I also will like the Phillies game 6, and (sorry Monkey) SFO game 7. Probably won't get a decent price on the Phillies tomorrow, but I will LOVE the price you should be able to get on Cain v Hamels. That's a mismatch in the Giants favor and you'll probably be able to get them as a decent size dog.
