I get where this is coming from. We are seeing more and more of all my least favorite elements of SBR here. The trend has been eye-opening and I wonder how far it will go. It's not so much the individuals posting that bother me - I don't expect to be interested in every personality in forum-land and vice versa - but it's the linking of stuff and copying of large chunks of SBR forum here, links with no relevance or context other than a desire to make this forum more like SBR. And we've had guys begging for SBR points and importing stale repetitive shtick and gossiping about SBR people who aren't even here. Ugh.

SBRforum is such an awful forum. It really is. If people want to mold this forum into something else, I wish it was almost anything but SBR.

It's like gamelive is a Cracker forum and a bunch of people from a Britney Spears forum have come over and started posting fan threads and cheeseball drama and the video of Hit Me Baby One More Time. I can't help but think, 'You've got your Britney forum - why don't you just talk about Britney there?"

For my part, I have kept my complaining to a minimum. The SBR stuff does seem to get lots of attention so I figure I am the odd man out. And then I think about the owners of the forum and what they want. Maybe they are thinking about making money and more activity is good for them and a certain amount of crapola is a necessary evil. I wouldn't blame them. I like those guys and don't want to be a wet blanket over their progress.

These are the thought I have.

Who knows what will happen? If the trend continues, I could very well could end up with a large chunk of the forum on ignore and posting mainly in the Private Zone like happened at SBR. That would be okay. I just want a few laughs during my day.
 
mudcat, i enjoyed your post.

i never really got into the sfaggotr drama-never posted there before here. but here are my few points...

sbr drama albeit trite, is fun at times. it is like a car accident.
the papageorge thread was v. entertaining.
brock landers should do us all a favor and stop posting here.
i do like to look down on people.

as mentioned way earlier, i am not a sharp gambler. i am not a serious gambler. i first started with this shit because the work i do gets mundane, and this cures it to an extent.

now over time, i have come to enjoy 90% of you and think of you all highly.

i do not want this forum to change. it maybe sad, but it is a part of my life now and i have become quite fond of it.

with all of that said, the stupid bs threads are just stupid. i will not look at them or post in them.
