Nessun Dorma sounds good but it's kinda twisted if you know what he's singing about. But it's about a whole bunch of death so I guess it's appropriate in the broad sense. Anyway it's opera. I guess you can just go with it and not overthink. I recall it came up in the show Six Feet Under where a very theatrical gay guy died and one of his artsy friends sang it at his funeral to powerful effect.

First thing that came to mind for me was Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata.
