I'm making a mix for a stRoller Derby baby shower. Sometimes I get roped into these things. I'm hoping that a Derby shower won't be quite as lame as the ones I've been to in the past. I'm lobbying for a mojito table.

We've got four skaters that are having babies all within a few months of each other. I've actually got a pretty good mix going, but need more suggestions. I'm looking for songs that could be baby related.

Here's one of my favorites that the strange internets have given to me:

Here's some of what I've got so far:

Britney Spears-Baby One More Time
Talking Heads-Stay Up Late
Journey-Who's Crying Now
Vanilla Ice-Ice Ice Baby
Blink 182-Hit me Baby One More time (acoustic)

They don't really have to be AWESOME. I'm trying to fill about an hour.

hmmmm. I guess if I put Britney in there, why not. Although I can't translate that fast in my head, and I'd like to make sure I'm not putting something too dirty in there. It looks pretty bubble gum and this is for Derby so I'm not all that worried.

On the list. Thanks RJ.

This song, not included and, I may have just fired myself for considering it. Now I'm crying a little. Just a little though, maybe only one tear. Considering prozac.

Got to give it credit though, not many rock songs can pull off the word placenta in the lyrics.

Talking Heads - Little Creatures
Crosby, Stills, & Nash - Teach Your Children
Creed - With Arms Wide Open
John Lennon - Beautiful Boy
The Smithereens - Baby Be Good
Van Halen - And the Cradle Will Rock
GNR (or Sheryl Crow) - Sweet Child Of Mine
