So I requested a WU withdraw today. I get the MTCN and eveything and go to pick it up. I cant because I am in the wrong state. I tried to pick it up in Boston, but my legal address is in Maine, and the ME address is the one the book has and is the one on my id. I haven't picked up a WU in while, but I have in the past picked up a payout in Boston, with an out of state id. Not sure if this is some new rule. I guess I should have told the book where I wanted to pick up the money
So I call the book to see if they can change the address. They can but it will take 72 hours, I will have to pay a cancelation fee which is equal to the the payout fee, and then another payout fee. Unreal. ALso if I want to paid in a location other than what they I have on file, I need to fax them my id, which they all ready have, and then send them a letter with my signature, requesting for a different payout location than my address on file.
The only reason I requested A WU was I wanted to buy a jet ski today, and didn't want to wait on transferring funds to my checking account.
