How much do you tip your hair stylist (barber)?

I have always tipped $5 for the last 15 years even though prices keep going up.

It takes about 10 minutes to cut my hair..nothing fancy.

What's a good tip for a quick haircut with no styling?

I tip 5 and I give my boy 3 to give to his lady. If we use the same one she's gets 7.

Kinda like this! Barber at farmer's market charged $12 and gave him $5! Went up to 13 so just gave 20! Now 14 but still give 20!

Haircut is 16 - I pay 20.

They always seem noticeably grateful. I guess I could be misinterpreting but the vibe I get is ---> some people go lower and they consider the full 20 noice.
