How many times do you laugh per day on average?

Just asking because I heard recently that the average adult laughs 5 times per day. I thought this was insanely low so I did a google search to double-check. Some of the links said the number was more like 15. But some of them did say ~5!!

Either way, here's what I conclude: compared to the average adult, I am some kind of hysterical, blithering ninny.

I laugh 5 times in my first 3 minutes checking gamelive in the morning. I laugh 5 times during the first segment of the Daily Show. I must laugh over a hundred times a day.

And it's weird because I don't even consider myself an excessively laughy guy. I am a bit on the dry, deadpan side actually. My girlfriend laughs much more than me.

So I don't know what that's all about. I know there are some humorless people out there but 5 laughs a day?!?! Who are these people?

I laugh way more than 5 times a day. Even though my job is pretty yucky most of the time, I still make sure I find humor in the yuckiness.

the only thing I can say that I watch every single day...is the Today Show. I love it. I get some news...i get some weather...i get some random stuff..good stuff and well produced.
