Brutal heat wave out west.

http://www.climatecentral.org/news/heat-wave-to-threaten-worlds-hottest-temperature-record-16161

"Nevada, Arizona and California will get dangerously hot temperatures starting Thursday and lasting through the weekend. All-time records are likely to be threatened in normally hot places including Death Valley, Calif., which holds the record for the highest reliably recorded air temperature on Earth at 134F. That mark was set on July 10, 1913, and with forecast highs between 125F to 130F this weekend, that record could be threatened. The last time Death Valley recorded a temperature at or above 130F was in 1913."

Big Heat + Low Humidity= tolerable.

During the 'wet season' in Northern Territory daily temps of 100-105 with 90+% humidity is the norm.

Its called the suicide season as the natives begin to act irrationally and in a morbid fashion.

During months of Oct-Nov NT has highest suicide rate of any developed country in the world because of the climate oriented changes.
