All-time records are likely to be threatened in normally hot places including Death Valley, Calif., which holds the record for the highest reliably recorded air temperature on Earth at 134F. That mark was set on July 10, 1913, and with forecast highs between 125F to 130F this weekend, that record could be threatened. The last time Death Valley recorded a temperature at or above 130F was in 1913."

I've been to death valley to catch rattlesnakes in august. Hot weather ain't nothing to fuck with dry or wet.

milked them for the venom and gave them to local hospitals to make anti-venoms. They gave us cash for it. The rattlesnake anti-venoms last for 6-12 months and after that they become ineffective.

Its called the suicide season as the natives begin to act irrationally and in a morbid fashion.
