Oh my gosh, this is insane. so fucking corrupt, because yeah, every american is a criminal. pfft. The last time we got pulled over the officer looked in the car and asked if we had any weapons or grenades he should be made aware of - you know, because we were totally planning on blowing some shit up that day. Never been asked that by an officer before.

I get wanting to bust, or stop drug dealers, or terrorists, but they are taking it too far. My generation is larger then the baby boomers, and here are letting our government walk all over us.

There is no way in hell and officer would be pulling that shit on me. Over my dead body.
 
Well I think it's one thing to deal with that kind of a situation, but there are people being pulled over that aren't involved in drug dealing or other criminal activity. It seems it's mostly being done on major highways and interstates, I know they do that here on I99. If you're just the average person and don't appear harmful or anything , they usually just send you on your way. Seems to be worse and more racial profiling in other states though.

Not at all. Was just curious why Canadian news outlets always magnify anything America does. The title of the article quoted by Pucky is so much attention whoring. Are they so desperate to get their Canadian readers attention by badmouthing anything American?
