Have any of you ever attended a World Cup?

I would think that Rogie has.

The first time I ever watched soccer with interest was in 1994 but I didn't have enough money to attend any of the games and I didn't know how big of a deal it was that the Cup was in the States.


If I'm not mistaken, aren't we one of the front runners to get the Cup in 2018 or 2022?

Isn't there a chance that Brazil doesn't get it in 2014 because they might not be ready?


I will be attending several matches next time the Cup comes to the States and Miami is rumored to have some really big games.

nope, I haven't. I actually made plans in 2006 but like a month before when I was gonna book I saw that everything was so overpriced so I said fuk it and didn't went. i ended up watching it through one of those 8 foot parabolic dishes in Lobito.

in 2002 i had no interest and 1998 i hardly used to watch sports and was a broke bum.

brazil 2014 is set in stone. only something catastrophic like war would have it moved.

usa, england and australia are looking good for 2018.

I almost went to the final in 1994 at the Rose Bowl. But I passed because I thought soccer sucked back then. :theshrink:

Went to Ireland, Italy and Ireland, Norway both in 1994 at Giants Stadium.

I went to a game at the Rose bowl in 94'. All I remember is that Romania was one of the teams playing.....
