Jello used to call me a conspiracy theorist and he hated when I called an opener fishy.

Well, this another one of those head scratchers. Halladay -165 @ SFO (Sanchez)

I'd like to hear some input from our resident sharps and conspiracy theorists alike on this game.

PHI RL is getting pounded.

I love SFO +1.5 (-120)

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

Line may not be as fishy as I first suspected.

Halladay's WHIP is 0.88 but Sanchez's is a sparkly 0.98

I still feel the line should have opened in the 180 range.

Curious to hear some of your guys thoughts.

Dafty, -120 SF RL might be a play. Love Halladay but will Sanchez shut down Phils too? Phils bullpen sucks right now. Giants pen has been great. Could be 3-2. 2-1 game either way. As much as I love the Phils, a -120 RL looks so enticing.

I like Halladay in that situation. Sanchez has been pitching over his head. So has Halladay to some extent but if they both revert to their career norms, Halladay kicks his ass. And of course if they both continue pitching like they have been, Halladay still has the edge. He has been incredible.

Philly ML, I say.

Jonathan Sanchez has been pitching lights out, as strong as any ace in the league. He's been on the verge for years, maybe this is his breakout year?

Bullpens:

San Fran: 2.86 ERA, 1.31 WHIP
Philly: 4.20 ERA, 1.46 WHIP

Not that bullpens usually factor in to Halladay games, but the line doesn't seem THAT far off.
