Having traditionally had the goat to small beard look, I do feel like I am ready to transition into full beardom.

Tris thinks it would be sexy between her thighs which is a perk.

I see myself having a nice proper one, thicker than the unshaven look definitely much, much, much, much, much shorter than James Harden.

Who here has experience and/or tips on growing a semi proper beard?

Plommer beat me to it

It will be itchy for awhile, but resist it

The payoff at the end of a few weeks is a laziness that is truly sweet

But I suggest shaving the neck, you don't want the Orton

I like to actually shave every morning. just as a ritual and to have to to prepare for the day.

My fiancee. hates my face when I do this though. its very very very rough. I understand her predicament

so somtimes when I don't have an important conference or meeting to attend, I don't shave. she seems to think that 3-4 days growth is the most soft and acceptable.

but after I get to that point, I really don't want to spend the 10 mins it takes to shave appropriately. it takes a once over with the electric before hand, and some good strategic application of the shaving cream afterwards.

so somtimes I skip the hardest parts..... I don't shave around my mouth, and leave a goatee...... I get made fun of real bad, for being a redneck with a goatee, and how goatees are so 1990's ect.

but I mean, hey some of the best MLB relief pitchers have goatees. they can't be all bad right?

I've been doing the goat thing too it is especially good if you have a larger face which I do. Good insight ty.

I mean, the best part of having a full beard is the low maintenance. just some neck shaving.....

you look 10 years older, and your girl will laugh at you when you get food stuck in it. after 2 weeks you have to take scissors to the upper lip hair trying to get into your mouth. All in All. I mean, why wouldn't you want a beard. Men were created to have beards

did Grizzley Adams have a beard?
