Man Claims He's a Gay Sex Addict and Sues GlaxoSmithKline for $610,000

A man claims a Glaxo drug used to treat Parkinson's disease made him a 'gay sex addict' and caused all sorts of other issues in his behavior and lifestyle and he will sue GlaxoSmithKline for $610,000 in a French court.

According to CBS News, Didier Jambart is a 51-year-old married father of two, and according to the lawsuit he claims his beahvior changed dramatically once he began to take Requip (ropinirole), a drug he was taking to treat Parkinson's disease.

According to Agence France-Presse, the lawsuit claims the man says he attempted suicide three times.

Other issues and changes in behavior, according to the claims in the lawsuit, an addiction to Internet gambling, and that he became a cross-dressing gay sex addict.


The behaviors stopped, according to the lawsuit, when he stopped taking the drug.
