It hadn't dawned on me until I was making out the thread title that today is Friday the 13th. I'll admit I almost closed out and was gonna avoid making a play today. No reason to tempt fate if it can be easily avoided right? Then I thought for a second, I have been picking games based on which one jumped out at me, no research, no pattern, no systems of formula's, I mean I've been tempting fate everyday since starting this.
So if we are to push the envelope and tempt fate to the absolute limits why not wager on something that is beyond logic, why not wager on the spread in pre-season football. I mean if you wanna talk about things jumping off the page and slapping you upside the head how much further does one need to go than Pavy making a thread a couple of days ago about his trip to Falcons practice. His report about what finely conditioned athletes they were and how well coached they appeared to be even at this early stage of the season. I made up something in my head that I assumed he forgot to mention about being seriously deep with talents and all of a sudden I look and Atlanta just rached out, grabbed me by the ears and pulled me into the monitor, talk about jumping out at-cha.

It bears noting here that I don't have a very positive record when telling a story with a play. Serious fade warning in effect.
