Just went to put in plays, and got a PSA of sorts:
"Please be advised that there will be a scheduled maintenance over MAYA 1 Fiber that will affect all internet in the country. We have backup carriers that allow us to re-route our traffic through the west coast, but there is a possibility that the internet performance may be affected.
This maintenance affects all providers operating in Costa Rica and is something we have no control over, but we have taken all preventive measures to minimize any impact to your service.
We encourage users to make their plays ahead of time in order to avoid any problems during peak hours.
