I recently switched over to (what I assume is) the newest version of Firefox. I started getting alerts that it is time to update so I did as I have many times over the years.

It's not saving my tabs though when I shut down at night. Is there a way to make that happen?

Shut you out? You prolly just need to log in again.

Muddy, click on the orange Firefox menu button thingie, mouse over Options, then click on Options on the pop-up menu. Change the "When Firefox Starts" option to "Show my windows and tabs from last time".

I wasn't sure what you meant by the button thingy but in hunting around for it, I think I found a solution to my problem. After starting up Firefox, under History there is an option to restore previous session (and a couple other options about recently closed tabs/windows). That oughta do it.

Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you didn't update to Firefox 4. Which is a good thing if you ask me. I hate this new version, it's slow and buggy.

It says it is Firefox 4.0.1

There is one other thing I am not liking but let me see if I can figure out how to fix it. I need to get more self-sufficient with these things. That last issue, I should have been able to figure out on my own in 3 seconds.

:bashing:

Doesn't make sense. What happens exactly? You get a blank page? Hit CTRL + F5 (PC) or CMD + R (stupid Macs)

This is the message I get:

The connection has timed out

Hitting CTRL F5 does nothing
