Serious head injuries. Critical but stable condition.

Sometimes I see race car crashes and I have trouble reconciling the result. Like when Dale Earnhardt died I would not have guessed it was anywhere near that serious.

That one though, I can definitely see it. Head injuries.

the sign clearly said not to plow through the bulldozer thing and fence

That race was a few hours before a typhoon hit. A couple other drivers were asking for it to be called off when it got heavy.
