Ever use ebay?

I really need to grip on this packaging thing Boner. I took 2 items to be mailed today and underestimated the shipping cost by about $5 between the two. On one item I believe I actually lost $2-3 on the deal. Any advice you have in this area would be appreciated. I just ordered a bunch of boxes from the post office (priority flat rate) Do you always want to send it priority so there is a record of tracking? I would imagine so. I suppose I should invest in some sort of scale? It's probably all discussed in these books but they are a bit dated.
 
I went by the consignment store that I took 25 items to. They have no record of me or my clothing...between $1500-2000 worth of items including a brand new bottle of Chanel perfume. I'm not in their system. I can't even tell you how livid I am. I wonder if I have any recourse. I'm supposed to wait til Monday when the owner is there....pretty sure she was the one I talked to last week and she told me nothing had sold which surprised me. Went in today and none of my stuff was there. And they can't find me in the computer although he remembered me and remembered the perfume. And this was nice stuff...the nicest of my stuff. The guy who worked seemed sure my perfume had not sold...I asked "where would it be then?" The whole thing was so strange. If I wasn't so stunned I would have lost it in there.

You're of course not charged for all of that right IAG?! Still sucks badly but confirm that you are not charged because if you are that'd be ridiculous.

Not sure what you mean but no....And update. I called down there again to see if they had it under my cell #...guy now says they found myself but it had not been inventoried yet. WTH? It's been over a month! If you make an appointment, it is supposed to be immediately inventoried/put out. I asked him if my perfume was there and he said he dk. I have a record of everything so I told him I would be down there tomorrow morning to pick it up. Unreal. Something else is going on because even if this was all true, I would still be in their computer system. Oh well, as long as I get my stuff back I'll be happy. I'll do the ebay thing. Works better anyway. Bigger audience.
 
Whacked out, hope everything works out. Everyone got slammed this year, Cami and Bacon's old reliable Amazon is limiting their Prime subscriptions - roughly 1 million new customers 3rd week of December which lead to delayed shipping times :lol:

Boner- I had an item up for auction. Sold for $152.50. Buyer did not pay. It's been 11 days now. What is the next step? I think I did things out of order.....I did a 2nd chance deal while simultaneously filing a report with ebay that appers to give the original buyer 4 additional days. I then revoked the 2nd chance offer as not to have two offers outstanding...now the 2nd chance buyer has contacted me wanting to buy for his original bid of $150.00. This came after the 2nd chance offer was revoked.


Do I have to wait this 4 days to see if original buyer pays?
I have sent 3 communications with no response.


Also..how does the final value fee work in this situation? I assume I don't have to pay for the original auction final value..just the 2nd chance fv?
