ethereum's creators are mounting an attack ddosing their own network trying to stop the siphoning and are urging everyone to do so as well

ethereum has lost 20% value in a couple of hrs

I just found out my buddy's online business got hacked. Seriously fucked up shit man, thousands of dollars and they slapped him in the face with some kind of haha we got you page when he tries to log into it.

He'll be fine as he's got a lot going on otherwise but dude -

that's pretty fucked.

If one was interested in becoming a hacker.... Do they have hacker college or should i jut google hacking for dummies and look for the book

look for guides on penetration testing, lots of legit sources to learn

there are bug bounty programs by big websites that pay you to try to find vulnerabilities

you never know you might have the gift for it

My buddy was able to get rid of the hackers. Lost a few grand to then with no chance at recourse, I'm thankful that's not a lot of money for him.

how did he lose a few grand? what did they do? what kind of site was it?

Standard buying selling site, I'd give you the actual site if we didn't have one certain poster around who can't be trusted with information like that. Sucks, we'd have a better conversation in this exact spot if that were the case . Those guys do the same things we do except much bigger and larger and would probably enjoy talking to some of us once in awhile, but they also have families and I can't risk the liability of some putz screwing with them with lame underhanded tactics. Anyway they rerouted the site to some slap in the face "ha ha we got you" web page except it was harsher than that (can't remember exactly what the wording was) and moved a few thousand out of the country.
