Did no-one watch the game yesterday? There was a lot going on at the same time and all but did anyone else see this game?
Dwyer (Florida) got hosed by the refs against Glenville (Ohio) at Buckeye's stadium. Dwyer scored not once but twice in the closing seconds of the ball game and the officials recognized neither winning score. On one of the 2 scores Dwyer reciever made one of the best catches you'll likely ever see by a high school athlete and then comes down in bounds with both a knee and a shoulder only to have the official say he was out of bounds. Now to give SOME credit to the official it was bang bang and he was out of position but it was clearly a legal catch. On the second ill fated no touchdown call Dwyer attempted a quarterback sneak that basically ended with both teams in the endzone and an official yelling no score, down at the 1 yardline, end of game.
Dwyer won the game but their record obviously will reflect a loss. This game won't be made right but we can hope that the state of Florida get a little redemption Saturday on that very same field.
