I don't usually eat breakfast. Not a biggie. Woke up this morning hungry but didn't know what to make. Decided to make poached eggs and toast. I love them but most restaurants charge extra if you want your eggs poached. I broke out my skillet and made them. It was great.

I might do it again tomorrow if I wake up hungry but I kinda doubt it as a got a slow cooker full of corned beef and cabbage going for dinner......

Is there another degenerate gambler that knows how to poach an egg?

Probably not.

Have a good day.

Can't poach an egg? Great job 20four7! Now if only you could give us a hockey GLPOTD? Curling or egg poaching, what's your greater strength?

Bread, what can I say? You bring a smile to my face when I wake up? Odds are -1,000,000 Robyn would bring even a bigger smile to my face in the morning!

I KNOW how to poach an egg, just haven't done it in a bit..... might damn proud of myself making both poached eggs on toast and having breakfast. Slowly got to get back to eating right foods at right times.

Beer, not just for breakfast anymore :)

Oh I have a proper poaching pan and everything. But it's faster in the microwave. And sometimes...faster is better. Not always but sometimes.

Now I don't like making omlettes in the microwave. those suck chicken asses.
mmmmmnn, chickens asses!

Nina, Plommer understands, no to quickies yes to "longies" and no chickens asses, check.

I won't get into the whole debate as to why I believe microwaving is bad..... but learn how microwaves work and you'll learn that the nutrients are zapped out of the food along with the water content among other things.
Then please explain how dried out bread becomes soft and moist once microwaved.

My microwaved soup loses no water content.

Sorry, 24 FAIL!
