I know he was in the hospital. I guess he was sicker than people lead on.

He was an ex Sox coach and an ex Sox Foe so I have memories good and bad with him.

Kinda sad to hear this.

I was busy watching a new TV series.

I remember seeing him at Maxfields the old otb/sports restaurant in downtown Denver many years ago. Oh Maxfields, the place I wasted most of my young adulthood.
Also remember him as the Cubs manager at a time when I was a fan.
