More than 30 others were injured and two police officers shot during New Year’s celebrations early Wednesday. The suspect is believed to be dead.

-Keeps bad guys “message” from spreading like wildfire on social media

-obviously a fluid, highly complex investigation with multiple homicides that may necessitate that the flag be covered as investigation is ongoing
