They way things are going I believe the equivalent of the War Measures Act has been invoked against the group known as the dirty 30...... I don't even think there is 30 of us. Together we rule the posting world as every forum is afraid of us....... if they weren't why would draconian measures without notice or a chance for defense be thrown at us with no explanation......


The most successful 25 internet forum..... godamned right......

They seem to pick and choose on who they decide to screw with over there.

I am sure if my account was active, it would of been screwed with.

There are others here who have been here since the beginning who have been completely left alone. There is no logic to the restricting they are doing over there. Of course, expecting logic from John would be stupid of me to think is possible.
 
I'm now on post review which due to the over worked mods means a post takes about an hour to get approved. My PM"s are gone because I tried to PM a certain forum owner and ask for an explanation...... I guess we are a bigger threat than we ever gave ourselves credit for.
 
I do understand. Back 5 years ago when Robyn and I first met on the FOX American Idol boards, our little group managed to alienate one of the contestants fan groups. I know that is hard to believe but its true. Most of our group (there was about 12 of us and we did call ourselves the Dirty Dozen) got banned from their forums. Some of it was for some of the silliest stuff ever. Nothing really offensive. Like where we would keep saying something about how they angled the camera to make Ryan Seacrest appear short when everyone knows he use to play for the Lakers. And it wasn't that it made us angry. It was that it thwarted us. It kept us from doing something we were enjoying. And that is the same thing here. All this silliness is keeping us from doing something we enjoyed.
 
Fivey, I don't see it so much as singling one site out. It's just that some of us still post there and we enjoy some of the people and interactions there. If EOG was dicking with us, I do believe the same threads would be made. And if Peep suddenly had a personality transplant and went all dickweasel, same treatment. If Robyn or Sporty got all frisky over on AIC....same deal. If Facebook started putting a timer on my posts...you better believe I would bitch about it. Does that make sense? We need to vent. If you don't want to read it, don't click it.
