Meaning, when you are at work, do you always want time to go fast?

I do. BIG time. It's awful how much I think about wanting time to pass.

I know time would pass a lot faster if I didn't think about it so much but I can't help it. I'm not busy enough and I have too much interesting stuff going on outside work these days. I want to get out of there and the workday just DDDDDRRRRRAAAAAAGGGGGGSSSSSSS.

When I was self-employed, I didn't think that way at all but now . . . awful.

So I wish away large chunks of my life.

What about you?

Every new day is the prime of my youth for me. I'll never be as alive and as young as I was today. My children will never be as young and
as adorable as they were today when we laughed and played.

In 10, 15, 20 years I wil reflect back and although I will miss my late 30's, I will remember how I lived in the moment maybe not all the
time, but most of the time.

Funny thing is, the most unproductive thing I do in my life right now (by far) is post on a message board. I may have to take a closer look
at how much time I've been allocating for that.

I somewhat do. I wish to be in a point where i secure my future career wise. When younger you dreamed of what you could do when you were old enough to move out, then you focused on getting a better job and being financially secure. Now i just want to find something i can do for the rest of my life that wont bore me to death.

I have a childhood memory of hearing a story about a man who possessed a magic ball of yarn. When he pulled the yarn, time would pass. He was imprisoned, pull the yarn and boom, prison walls crumble... Etc. One day he dies.

I try to avoid pulling the yarn but of course I am guilty of it all the time. Does anyone know the childrens story? I think the yarn was golden.
