I do. At least I think I do. It feels like I do. It is in my head.

I'm talking about Saturdays during baseball season.

It really is in my head. Every Saturday I sit here getting ready to do my usual stuff thinking, 'Just take the day off.' But I am scientific minded and I tell myself, no, it makes no sense, it has been an aberration. I imagine how I will feel if I take the day off and the plays I would have made go 8-1. And I end up going ahead and doing my usual thing.

And for weeks and weeks I end every Saturdays wishing I had taken the day off.

It's just baseball season. I remember having glorious Saturdays last year during NCAAF.

Maybe there really is something to it. I tend to make a lot of UNDER plays and maybe there is a legit reason for having more scoring on Saturday. Bigger crowds? Day games? Maybe umpires act differently? I don't know. I guess I could sort few spreadsheets and check if Saturdays really are higher scoring. But it wouldn't explain why my other system plays keep falling on their face on Saturdays.

I don't know.

I feel like I am walking into an abyss but here I go . . .
 
I don't know about Thursday. I don't have any feelings about Thursday. I could be going through huge swings on Thursdays and not even notice. Thursday is not as distinctive a day in my week as Saturday (if that makes any sense) so I don't notice Thursday patterns.

I really believe the Saturday thing is just an aberration. Just like sometimes I'll have the inevitable really bad stretch in real time, it makes perfect sense that the same would apply to any given day of the week. Ups and downs balancing out in the long run on the plus side.

It's in my head though. I'm going to make a point of checking a few things on my spreadsheets today just to ease my mind.

Muddy I had a crazy streak of really awesome totally awesome Saturdays and then I would give it back Sunday, or most of it anyway.

Been on a decent run of late, I like your Reds play and I think the White Sox get is done again today-take a look at that one

Cubs/Rockies over 9 looks good to me too
