Do you ever think that if a tree falls in the forest

It depends on several factors. Like the volume of the fall and how close people are.

Like for example if the tree falls and it is so close that it hits you on the ass on the way down and it breaks a bunch of windows and accidentally sets off a bunch of alarm clocks and causes a big box of silverware to spill onto a hardwood floor, you will probably hear it.

Not sure, but I do know this... If it falls, it's probably dead and most likely died alone.
