Of course I'm a mostly stat and part hunch guy but everything points for me to the Rays tonight. Not as strong as last night but still like them.

Last 10 games Blue Jays starters .448 SLG, .350 OBP and .238 AVg with 36 runs and 16 HRS. Rays .481 SLG, .413 OBP, and .302 AVG with 61 runs and 12 HRS.

Last 6 games Blue Jays .323, .320. and .190 with respect to above categories and 16 Runs and 6 HRS. Rays .505, .404, and .307 and 41 Runs and 10 HRS.

Last 3 games Blue Jays starters .161, .247. and .103 with 4 Runs and 1HR. Rays .604, .470. and .360 with 28 Runs and 7 HRs.

Bottom line is Blue Rays in a bad slump and the Rays are hot! But looking at pitching Toronto's Brett Cecil has been much stronger than Wade Davis this year so far. Cecil real good last 4 outings while Davis has had a tough time in his last 3. Davis gives up the long ball and Blue Jays hit them. Last 10 games no stolen bases so can't manufacture runs.

I'm betting Davis pitches well enough against a struggling team and Rays hot bats hit well enough to get Tampa Bay a win? :dunno:

I liked the rays but didn't get home early enough to bet them... which is prolly good however I did have the braves and the reds earlier cuz I handicapped the early games and hoped I could get in the late games before they started NOT!
