Wanted to take a shot on federer, but this seems to be the best price out there.

Good bet? havent watched a tennis match for 2 years.

I'm even less in touch with the world of tennis than you. I don't think Federer has ever been a clay guy - even at his peak. I know Djoko is playing great and has beaten him soundly 3 times this year already.

Don't know much about djoks performance on clay and many people say the surface is the majority of the game. However, I think, surface aside, this is a good price on djokovic. I think there is still some belief that rodger just has to perform at older levels of play, which in my mind seems irrational and should bring down the price on djok.

I bet 4+ sets b/c I am a fed homer and now im regretting it, djok could easilly roll in straights.

And btw fed is a clay guy. His game translates well to any surface. Unlike sampras who was simply bad at slower play, fed has so few clay titles b/c he rode second chair for so long.

I think if you like Federer durito, I think the best bet would the total and take the over . Djokovic is on another level right now, I just don't see him losing today.

The over 3 sets may be worth looking at. I am not going against Novak right now though.

I cant believe how bad djokovic looks. If he doesnt wake up Fed may win this in straight sets.

fed on clay has always been good

I think his best surface is grass but he's plenty good on clay. Note his crazy streak in GS semifinals, which included a lot of french opens. As someone was saying, he hasn't won a lot of clay titles because he's had to go against the greatest clay courter in history.

french open federer: 2005 semis, 2006 finals, 2007 finals, 2008 finals, 2009 winner, 2010 quarterfinals, 2011 pending (at least semis)

Djokovic just started so slow and this still should have gone to 5 when he was serving for the fourth set. Great match, I havent seen many of these longer matches at the French this year.
