What I am about to tell you is beyond ridiculous. I have been a D-TV customer for about 10 years, and have had the NFL Ticket each year during tht span. As a cost cutting move while I became self-employed, I canceled the ticket as a cost cutting move back in May (this was the first try). When I got my July bill, the charge was still showing up. I called again and said I cancelled a month ago, why is this still showing on my bill? No problem Mr. Hood they said, we will fix it. I get my August bill, and for the love of Christ, I am STILL getting billed for it. At this point I say fuck it, I am shorting my bill by the amount of the NFL Ticket they have been charging me in error for.

I get home home from my office tonight to find my service has been interrupted. I log onto my account, and instead of seeing a credit to my account for the erroneous charges, I see my service has been cut off because they say I owe them $300. Needless to say I went ape and called them. Bless this poor girls heart for putting up with me before she probably transferred my to somebody that knew what was going on. After about 30 more minutes, I got the problem rectified by some nice gentleman.

3 times I tried to get them to do something simple, and they fukked it up each time. Not to mention I am still not getting the HD channels I am paying for (that is another story for another day).

What TV service do you guys have? I want to be done with them, but the thought of changing over to something else (i.e. Dish TV or cable) is making my head spin.....

Suggestions? Comments????

Signed,

p.s. This may be the longest thread I have started in my 10 year posting history, sorry...

1. I have Brighthouse. Not a fan, but my options are limited here.
2. You are right to have snapped. Cable companies can drive you mad.
3. Head to Central for some lovely beverages and watch the games!
4. Our college game blows.

Steve, getting rid of the Sunday Ticket was the whole problem with this to begin with.....

I know. I'm saying On Demand could be that great as a replacement, go HBO they go HBO on Demand w u. Try entourage, Bored to death, etc. anytime you want.

But again I agree - the Sunday Ticket Monopoly exists as the problem.

NFL corporate fail.

I used to have d-tv as well. Your story almost mirrors mine. I now have Verizon Fios and love it. TV/Internet/Phone package is awesome. Also, I have access to MLB channel and NFL channel and the Redzone. Can't wait to watch the Redzone on Sunday.

sounds like Mediacom here, total BS
but they have a monopoly on cable here.

they told me an HD reciever was free when I switched to HD, get my bill and they charge me for it.
they told me HD channels are free, get the bill and they've charged me for an HD package which the bitch told me I had to have.
turns out the HD package is just an additional 5 HD channels.

Honest to God mmike, for the first 9 years I was treated like gold. This past year when I want to change shit up, they act 100% douchey. I still have to sort out the HD shit I was charged for that I have STILL not received, but that has to wait a day or so; I am fuming...
