As a Patriots fan, I wanted to get an unbiased opinion on what non fans think of how the Jets have conducted themselves this week and after today's game. I may be clouded in my thinking being a fan, but they REALLY came across as bullies and braggerts who have never experienced a real win in their careers. Is it just me, or do you guys feel the same way?

I`ve always been of the opinion that you act like you have been there before. However, the Patriots are an easy team to dislike. Not that i personally dislike them, i think they have some fabulous players on their team and believe I`m one of the few non Patriot fans who actually likes their coach. With the Patriots having put themselves on their pedestal, both with their play over the last number of years and the aura that they have given off, it would be hard for me to be overly critical of the Jets actions during the week and upon their victory.

To put it in perspective, their antics at least had some substance to it as it was in victory. It`s not like they are down 14 or 21 points and make one play and have that player act like he`s won the super bowl. The `look at me `antics of some of these guys when down 2 or 3 touchdowns is so comically sad. In the Jets case they at least were in a position where it didn`t make them look like fools.

To me the Jets are actually trying to be like the Patriots. Arrogant, confident and cocky yet willing and able to back it up on the field. If I was a Pats fan i`d take it as a compliment.

I don't mind what the Jets did. Why not badmouth the Patriots heading into the game? When people are polite and respectful to them, they win Super Bowls. Why not try to rattle things around?

Why not celebrate if you are genuinely happy with good reason?

Certainly the Patriots are not a team that can go claiming any high ground when it comes to sportsmanship.

I personally would not behave that way. I have old-fashioned ideas about class and dignity. But I accept that there are different styles.

All great replies here that I agree with. All I know is Boston fans are 10X more annoying than NY fans after finally winning the WS a few times. As much as we hate Met fans when they come to town the Red Sox crew out douche them.

I hate it but in football today it seems you have to be a bully and brag to survive. Can't stand these guys when they celebrate after each and every play during the game. I mean the Pats lost as like a 9-10 point fav! Wow! Jets had to be pissed just looking at the opening line coming out?

Rex Ryan IMO is part show and smart enough to take the pregame attention away from Sanchez so he doesn't feel the pressure. Guy had good game but could totally implode against the Steelers.

What was Belichick thinking faking a punt in the first half which changed the whole game around? Not nearly as bad though as the time he went for it on 4th down around his own 30 yard line years ago. Going into half down 7-3 and getting ball in second half first was the way to go. Genius of a coach but sometimes these guys just outsmart themselves.

I read the reactions and they were all interesting. Mr. Monkey, in terms of Boston fans being 10x more annoying than NY fans, i am from NY and I am a HUGE Boston fan. Let me tell you, the two fan bases have an equal amount of douches..lol. The one thing I will say is I have NEVER seen a Patriot team yelp, dance, talk disrespectfully after a game, or do swan dives in an end zone after a game like the Jets did. Granted, the Patriots are a dirty team in some of their tactics (who isn't by the way), but how the Jets acted, to me, was a bit much.
