Day #5 In A Play-A-Day-A-Thon

Having a hard time today. For some strange reason I am wanting to step outside the box. I went looking for a baseball play to try and reach my 4th consecutive win here but as I am looking through the games available two other sports were drawing my attention.

I haven't watched a Canadian Football game since I was a kid and ESPN ran them all the time. I can't recall ever watching a WNBA game and yet both these sports kept beckoning me their way. Why? I have no earthly idea.

So now I am torn. First I have a very real liking for the Edmonton Oilers -5 over Toronto at Edmonton and secondly I am feeling the Indiana Fever -6 over Atlanta at Indiana. I don't know squat about either but something very powerful is directing me in their direction.

I don't know if even Muddy can save me today. I don't want to over use his mystical powers and have him bless either of these with another "Good Luck" cause I don't want to run that well dry.

I said I would do a play a day but I think since both of these have such an overpowering pull for my attention I will break stride and play them both. I will play them smaller but enough to total a unit.

FYI, Edmonton's CFL team is called the Eskimos. Oilers is hockey.

Muddy, don't waste a good luck on me but do you maybe know anything about these Eskimo's?
Muddy, if it were strippers I would go with Atlanta but it's basketball so I think Indiana is the way to go.

I don't follow the CFL much at all. The west is traditionally stronger than the east (so that would favor Edmonton) and the Argos have been pretty bad the last few years.

Taking a quick look at this year, I see the Argos have a better record (3-2 vs 1-4). The strength of opposition is close. If anything, I would say the Argos have had a slightly tougher schedule so far.

Based on this minimal, perfunctory analysis I would lean towards the Argos plus the points but it will definitely be a no-play for me and I am poised and ready to give you a goog luck whatever you may decide.
