It's overdue that gamelive had a circumcision thread.

What do you think of circumcision? It used to be widely accepted but now some people are outraged by it and consider it mutilation.

Are you circumcized?

Are you pleased with the state of your weiner vis a vis circumcision or not?

If you are female, do you prefer a circumcized schmekel? Scholar?

Did those of you with male offspring have them circumcised?

Spell-check keeps telling me to spell it "circumcised" rather than "circumcized." Where do you stand on that?

Although one time it (spell-check) did accept "circumsized" without correction. Other times, it told me to correct it. What's up with that? Shouldn't spell-check be consistent? It's a computer program. Why is it being quirky?

What are the implications of circumcision on wearing toilet paper rolls?

I am Circumcised and am very happy with the state of my penis. I think that it isn't cruel and the practice should be continued. If it has been going on for this long without any ill effects to a person's mental state why stop now?

I should answer my owns questions.

I am circumsized and I am pleased with that. I guess I am pleased because I have been told by women who have experienced both that they prefer circumcized. I have never heard the contrary.

Always wanting to please the womenfolk, that's me.

I have heard of adult males getting voluntarily circumcized. I don't know what to think about that. Wanting to please the womenfolk is one thing but the thought of that region going under the knife right now makes me really, really queasy.

Maybe there are other angles to voluntary circumcision? Maybe it is somehow nicer/easier having one that is circumcized? I don't know.

My girlfriend has two sons, both not circumcized. As the story goes, she and her husband were debating the question right up to the time of birth. After the first one was born the husband said, "He's perfect. Let's just leave it alone." And she said, "Okay." And so that was that issue resolved for them.

I don't know if my sister is having her newborn son circumcized. I also don't know if that is an appropriate question to ask.

I guess it depends on how close you and your sister are? Do you talking about random things to her? Can you swear in front of her? do you say...."Look at the tits on that chick" to her?

Without getting into my answers for each individual issue you raise, I think I'll just ask about the circumcision thing. What's the worst thing that could happen?

I don't know why I am curious but I am.

Muddy, not to burst your bubble, but even if you'd had a partner who preferred the hooded worm (homage to AMBy right there, he and I have had this conversation before), there's almost no chance that you would've heard about it. As someone who handles other penises in the course of getting laid, I can tell you I've never once pulled down a guy's drawers only to say "Awwww, it's mutilated...I don't like them that way..." It's just not something you do, not only out of courtesy for your partner of the moment, but also you cheat yourself out of truly hot sex by starting the encounter with an expression of disappointment. I try not to let myself even think that way, because dating in the States means I'm going to find myself working with a lot more cut members than uncut ones, and it's no good to dwell on what you're "missing" when you're about to "get some."

Anyhow, Blitty's right, I'm uncut and I prefer my partners that way. I'm sure some of it has to do with the fact that since I'm attracted to the same gender, I'm most comfortable with genitalia that closely resembles my own, right down to the presence of a prepuce. I've spent 29 years with a foreskin so it's only natural that I have a few "moves" that are only relevant to an uncut partner. That's not the only reason I prefer uncut dicks, though. To me, they function more naturally as the extra skin allows for vigorous thrusting without excessive friction, and the extra sensitivity of an uncut guy's glans makes getting him off a more subtle and nuanced affair. Lastly, and this is purely anecdotal, I find uncut guys produce more precum, and as the old saw goes, you can never have too much lube.

Finally, I do find circumcision (my preferred spelling) to be a barbaric practice which deprives men across the globe of a very precious part of their natural anatomy. I know cleanliness is a big selling point, but I'm here to tell you that bad hygiene never exists in a vacuum, and a guy who can't be bothered to wash his penis in the shower is gonna have a whole host of undesirable traits on top of that. Likewise the study from the 60s which found that women are more prone to cervical cancer if they have uncut partners isn't at all accurate, for one thing the circumcision group was made up of Jewish men and their partners, mostly Jewish women, who we now know have a genetically higher predisposition to cervical cancer than the average woman.

Anyhow, I feel like I'm rambling at this point. Penis is ones of my very favorite topics and I should probably save something for later in this thread. I'll end it with a question, though:

If a foreskin is a meaningless piece of skin, why would men that have gone through surgery or years of non-surgical foreskin restoration therapy to recover their prepuce be so vocal in promoting the process if it didn't seriously improve their sexual experiences? If you ask me, those are the only guys who can really tell us which is better, because you have to experience both sides of the coin in order to declare one superior.
