Hamburger: The Motion Picture
So last night after that heartbreaking loss, I decided to fire up the ol Betamax and pop in a classic movie. I had watched "Hot Dog" the week before, so I figured a complement to it would be "Hamburger: The Motion Picture". The movie stars Leigh McCloskey (of Fraternity Vacation fame) as Russell. Russell is an oversexed playboy who has never worked a day in his life. When he finds out he is being cut off from his parents $$ fund if he doesn't graduate from a college, he signs up for Busterburger U. Busterburger U is a school that teaches you how to make, serve, and franchise Busterburgers. Russell figures he can get an easy degree from there AND keep his willie in his pants long enough to make his parents proud. Well what ensues is hilarity involving pickles, boobies, spicy chicken balls, more boobies, helicopters, and Dick Butkus. Butkus plays the mean school teacher whose wife is sleeping with a student. She is a MILF of augmented proportion!Their is a subplot with special sauce and a bizzare scientist, but what really makes this movie is the male bond between the two lead actors. McCloskey shows a sensitive side rarely shown by an 80's protagonist and his sidekick Nacio (his dormmate) is a perfect wingman. Russell does end up falling in love with Dick Butkus' daughter, but that love connection didn't play out in my mind as well as it could have. Considering she never gets naked, we never really FEEL the naked emotion the two of them felt. Now the writing and acting in this movie are tepid at best, but if you like boobies and 80's hairstyles, this movie is for you!! My review scales are as follows.
Kleenex & Jergens Rating: 7 spank and wipes out of 10
After a 40oz beer rating : 7 out of 10
Watch With A Girl You Want To Break Up With Rating : 9 out of 10
