Canadian Posters

For the geographically challenged like me, could you be so kind as to indicate the province of your residence in this thread...or city/prov if comfortable. I want to make a map and mark it so I can try to learn more about Canadidan geography and where you all are.

I took Canadian Government in college, but have long since forgotten most of what I learned. Associating a city with a poster will help with this quite a bit I think.

Wow. I didn't realize that. So have you all met up? How big is Ontario ....is it fairly concentrated or no?

Ontario is HUGH. Most of us reside in the Greater Toronto Area though.

I have been to Niagara Falls. longgggggggggggggggggg ago. How far is that from Toronto?

Not far at all - on a clear day I can see them from my building, by looking straight across Lake Ontario.

About 80 miles by car, you need to drive around the lake.

Am I reading this correctly that Toronto and Montreal are the two cities with populations over a million and then Vancouever is next but significantly lower?

Yeh. Vancouver itself is pretty small. I've been only once, and I thought it thoroughly sucked.
