I believe that it is translated to 625w to the 6th power minus d to the 6th power.

I do not think that it comes down to one number, because you are factoring.
i.e. 2b^4-32
factored:
2(b^2+4)(b-2)(b+2)

That is what it is asking, but obviously a different problem.

With the information you have presented me you can't not figure out what 'w' and 'd' are equal too. This means you can't solve the equation for a static number of mothballs.

Do you want us to assume it equals 0?

It just needs to be factored out, there is no what does W or D equal. He is on crack. Just factor it out. like the example I showed, I didnt show all the work because I didn;t feel like it, though I can if that will help. I tried to solve the one 173 posted, but only got so far....
